How much does a handyman cost?
It depends on the job and how much is on your list. Send us a description or a few photos and we will give you a written, itemized price before we start: a flat price where we can, and hourly with a firm cap where we cannot.
Are estimates free?
Yes. Written estimates are always free, and there is no obligation to book.
Will the price change once you start?
No. The number we give you is the number you pay. If the job grows, for example we find rot behind a wall, we show you and you approve any change in writing first.
Is there a minimum job size?
We are happy to take small jobs. If you have a few, put them on one list so we can do them in one visit. That is also the most affordable way to use a handyman. See small jobs & odd jobs.
Booking & scheduling
How do I book?
Call or text 604-446-9818, email info@g2homeservice.com, or use the form on our home page. Photos of the job help us give you an accurate price quickly.
What are your hours?
Our phone is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. On-site work is Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm.
Can you come the same day?
Call us rather than using the form. If the schedule allows a same-day visit, we will book it. Otherwise we give you the soonest slot we have.
How long does a typical job take?
Most jobs go from first message to finished in under a week. Many small jobs and honey-do lists are done in a single visit.

We are based in Coquitlam and work across Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Anmore, Belcarra, Burnaby, New Westminster, Vancouver, Richmond, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Surrey, Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge.
What if my address is not on the list?
Call or text us and we will let you know whether we can get to you.
The work
What kinds of jobs do you do?
Drywall repair, painting, carpentry, flooring, TV mounting, furniture and IKEA assembly, doors, caulking, minor plumbing, deck and fence repair, gutter cleaning and more. Junk removal and hauling is a separate service. See all our services and repair guides.
Do you do plumbing?
We take on minor plumbing jobs such as faucets, toilets, shower heads and supply lines. Some plumbing work in BC needs a licensed plumber and permits, and we will tell you upfront if your job is one of them.
Do you work in condos and strata buildings?
Yes. We follow your building's rules for elevators, parking and work hours. See strata & condo repairs.
Can you help with move-out or pre-sale repairs?
Yes. We patch, paint, fix doors and caulking, and haul away what is left. See move-in, move-out & pre-sale repairs.
Will you keep me updated during the job?
Yes. We send photo updates as we go, and walk every repair with you before we pack up.
Our guarantee
What if I am not happy with the work?
We walk every repair with you before we leave. If anything is not right, we redo it on the spot at no charge.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes. Every job comes with a one-year workmanship guarantee: if something we fixed fails within 12 months because of our work, we come back and make it right for free. Read the G2 Promise.
Do you clean up after?
Always. Drop cloths go down, dust is contained and debris is hauled away. If you find our mess, we come back and clean it.
